Oxford United officials are confident that the safety precautions they had in place for the visit of Aston Villa will be sufficient when Swindon Town come to the Kassam Stadium for their televised FA Cup clash on December 8.
One of the segregation doors underneath the North Stand was broken down as trouble flared during Villa's 3-0 win in the Worthington Cup just over two weeks ago, which saw two arrests made.
But U's safety officer Tony Ashley says that although there is likely to be a bigger police presence at the game, to be shown live on BBC 1, on the whole, nothing will change from the way the Villa game was stewarded.
"I see no difference in the two games, apart from the fact that this one is a local derby," Ashley said.
"The safety there will be the same, although I would imagine there will be a slightly bigger police presence.
"The problems we had in the concourse areas will be resolved, and it will just be a case of topping and tailing what we did for the Villa game."
Fans from both teams have already expressed concerns about the trouble that could emerge from Swindon's first visit to the Kassam Stadium.
