Midfielder Nando Perna has done a U-turn and rejoined Oxford City.
Nando PernaThe former Thame United player left City last month when manager Paul Lee had his budget cut, and has since had brief spells at Chesham United and Slough Town.
But he hasn't been offered a deal by either club, and is now back at Court Place Farm.
Lee said: "He says he felt he had made a mistake leaving us in the first place, and I am happy to have him back."
Perna was due to play for City Reserves at Boreham Wood on Thursday, before hopefully returning to the first-team squad for the trip to Wembley in Ryman League Division 1 North on Saturday (November 23).
Justin Lee has recovered from a foot injury, but John Mitchell (ankle), Paul Woodhouse (knee) and Matt Whitehead (thigh) are out, and there is a slight doubt about Andy Smith (Achilles).
