Shipton-under-Wychwood's feat of becoming the first Oxfordshire cricket club to win the National Village title at Lord's was honoured by Oxfordshire County Council at a reception at County Hall last night.
Shipton players and officials with County Council chairman Charles ShoulderChairman Charles Shouler congratulated the club on an outstanding team performance and wonderful victory in the final, when they overcame Derbyshire side Elvaston.
