A small town museum, freshly renovated and extended, is once again open to the public.
The building at Charlbury, originally opened in 1962, houses many artefacts from the town's history, including a room dedicated to traditional local trades and crafts.

Charles Tyzack, chairman of the Charlbury Society which manages the museum, says: "The most striking improvement is the new wagon shed, which will house a collection of farm tools in addition to the museum's Oxfordshire wagon."
The museum garden, facing on to Market Street, has also been redesigned.
