Oxford speedway promoter Steve Purchase will be among the Elite League promoters who meet again today (Nov 21) ahead of the sport's annual meeting in Swindon at the weekend.
Some clubs are not ready to pledge their involvement with the top flight for next season unless certain changes are made.
Cheetahs were not happy with the way the title run-in was conducted last season and there are growing concerns over the increasing demands of the Grand Prix series.
BSPA chairman Chris Van Straaten said: "The most important thing is that all Elite League clubs are talking and understand the problems certain clubs are experiencing."
