Embroidered wall hangings showing the ancestry of a south African tribe are on display at an Oxford art shop.
Art Works of Africa, in South Parade, Summertown, is hosting an exhibition of traditional hangings created by tribesmen living in the Keiskamma River region of Africa. British artists helped set up an art group to give women living in the underdeveloped region the opportunity to work and earn money.
Art Works of Africa hopes the exhibition will help to raise its profile.
The display runs until Saturday, December 7.
