Sponsored leg waxing and dressing up as film characters were some of the events that helped staff at an Oxford-based builders' merchants raise £75,000 for charity.

Buildbase employees raised the money for Macmillan Cancer Relief in less than a year, easily exceeding a target of £50,000. Staff at the firm's headquarters in Cowley joined hundreds of others from 80 branches across the UK to fundraise.
