What message are our judges sending to paedophiles (Oxford Mail, November 15)?
A man was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court to only two-and-a-half years for assaulting a four-year-old, because the prisons were overcrowded.
What planet are these judges on?
Let out people convicted of non-violent crime to do community work and make room for paedophiles.
We must protect our children. I am sure that if someone was found guilty in the same court of robbing a bank, there would be no mention of crowded prisons.
