People in south Oxfordshire are being asked for suggestions on how to cut homelessness.
South Oxfordshire District Council is asking householders for their advice on preventing homelessness. The council also wants advice on how to provide better services for homeless families.
The council has managed to cut the number of families in bed and breakfast accommodation from 38, this time last year, to just three.
Council spokesman Shona Parsons said: "The biggest cause of homelessness in south Oxfordshire is young people having to leave their parental home.
"The council has to produce a strategy for dealing with this problem."
