A man's body found at an Oxford golf club is being linked with the death of a woman in a city hotel room.
Police revealed the connection today (25 November) without divulging further details of the double deaths, discovered within hours of each other.
CID officers are also withholding the identities of the two until their families have been told.
Police were called out at about 8.50am yesterday to Southfield Golf Club, east Oxford, where they found the body of a man.
Later in the day, the body of a woman was found in a hotel room.
Post mortem investigations on both bodies are to be carried out today.
Acting Detective Inspector Dermot Norridge, of Oxford CID, said they were carrying out further inquiries. Police have not appealed for witnesses or information.
