A 60-year-old woman was treated for a hip injury after being mugged in broad daylight in Abingdon.
She was approached from behind in Norman Avenue at 11.45am on Sunday, November 24, and fell to the ground as her handbag was wrenched from her shoulder.
The robber was described as a man in his 20s with a tanned complexion and dark hair. He was about 5ft 11in, wearing a grey duffle coat and was carrying a mobile phone.
Police believe he has been standing at the junction of Oxford Road and Norman Avenue, using the phone, prior to the attack.
