Pamela Potterton, manager of the Oxfordshire Carers' Forum, said the six were angels. She added that patients and their carers were enormously grateful for their contribution.
Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire Hugo Brunner presented the awards at the ceremony at the forum's annual meeting at County Hall in Oxford.
