South League: Second-placed Abingdon beat third-placed Marlow 2-0 in Division 2 at Tilsley Park.
Will Trigg and Nathan Conn both saw efforts rebound off the metalwork at penalty corners before Abingdon took the lead midway through the first half.
And it was Trigg who did the trick, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way with a low flick from a penalty corner.
With 15 minutes left, Abingdon sealed the win with a second goal. The danger appeared to be over for the Marlow defence when Ron Smith failed to stop a penalty corner cleanly.
However, he recovered quickly to play the ball goalwards where Andy Maunder was on hand to deflect it over the grounded keeper and into the net.
