South League: Two goals from born-again goalscorer Mike Godwin earned ten-man Witney a 2-2 draw at Birkbeck College.
Birkbeck took the lead with a scrambled goal after Steve Scott failed to make a routine clearance.
Witney took the game to Birkbeck in the second half and their pressure told when Godwin forced the ball home.
Controversy surrounded the goal as Birkbeck furiously appealed that the ball had hit a foot.
Unable to accept the umpire's decision, the home team lost control and a series of reckless challenges led to the dismissal of their captain and Witney's Scott.
Godwin thern fired Witney ahead, but they were denied victory when a setpiece saw Birkbeck draw level.
