A woman died after being struck by a car in the centre of Oxford last night (November 25).
She was trapped beneath the vehicle outside The Jolly Farmers pub in Paradise Street, near the Westgate Centre, at about 7.15pm.
A military crew manning a Green Goddess fire engine from The Slade Territorial Army base, cut her free but she was certified dead at the scene.
