A traditional Christmas market raised nearly £3,000 to help save a village church.
About 500 shoppers flocked to Letcombe Bassett to sample seasonal food and buy gifts ranging from African jewellery to hand-painted mirrors.
They were entertained by the brass band from the School of St Helen and St Katharine in Abingdon, handbell ringers and special guest Father Christmas.
Proceeds from stall bookings and profits totalled £2,816 for the St Michael and All Angels restoration appeal, compared with £2,605 last year.
The village needs to raise £275,000 for a six-year programme of improvements and is waiting to hear the results of a grant application to English Heritage.
Residents have already raised about £35,000 through events such as the market and open gardens day, which will be repeated next June.
