Three Oxford canoeists raised thousands of pounds for two charities by sailing around Scotland in sea kayaks.
Rob Yates, Roger Wiltshire, Roger Hiley with Pat Smith of Helen House.
Rob Yates, Roger Wiltshire and Roger Hiley spent a month canoeing around Scotland's coastline to raise £3,000 for Helen House in east Oxford and the Oxford Prostate Cancer Appeal.
The canoeists, who help run courses at the Riverside Centre near Donnington Bridge, trained for 18 months to prepare for the challenge.
Mr Yates, 26, deputy head of the Riverside Centre, said: "It was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. Despite the pain, it was worth it to help the charities."
The trio hope to raise more money by giving talks about the trip.
