A wizard was on hand to turn on the Christmas tree lights in Headington during an annual fun day.
Children and families were entertained by Headington Baptist Church members who staged a pantomime in London Road during the event on December 1.
Stilted performance entertained shoppers
Headington Singers performed and stilt walkers kept visitors transfixed.
A storyteller was in The Queen of Hearts bakery in Windmill Road to entertain shoppers.

At 3pm a wizard, otherwise known as Harry Stenlake of Headington, who played a wizard in the Harry Potter movies, was on hand to magic on the tree lights.
Organiser Stephanie Jenkins said: "The lights get better every year."
