The Bishop of Oxford, the Rt Rev Richard Harries, dedicated a Millennium stained glass window at the Blake Church of England Primary School in Witney.
The school won the chance to have a special stained glass window after entering a Diocesan competition to celebrate the Millennium.
Oxford stained glass artist Mari Girling worked with pupils to create a window on the theme of the tree of life.
Miss Girling said: "The children at the school were a pleasure to work with and I was really impressed with their drawing skills.
"I tried to use as many of their ideas as possible so that all the children would feel involved."
The school's headteacher Timothy Massey said: "We are all delighted with the window."
The window includes a central stylised tree with horse chesnut leaves -- the children's favourite conker tree -- with birds resting in its branches.
