Premier side Cherwell Club proved too strong for Section 1's Nuffield Bar in the Greene King ODDA Ladies Winter League.
Sylvia Middleton and Sue Lovell got Cherwell off to a flying start, before Helen Prescott pulled one back.
Sue Morris and Sharon Room made it 4-1, and although Debbie Cann reduced the arrears for Nuffield, a 2-1 pairs success saw Cherwell home.
In an all-Section 1 clash, Shelley Arms A were pipped 5-4 at home to East Oxford Conservative Club.
Sue Smith and Jayne Slade put Shelley 2-0 up, but the visitors stormed back to lead 4-2 after wins from Ann Lucin, L Reveley, M Reveley and Norma Brain, and sealed victory by taking one of the pairs.
Quarry Gate C maintained their fine start to the season, with a 5-4 triumph over Premier side Blackbird Bar, making it four wins out of four.
Vikings Social Club A saw off Section 2 rivals Cowley Workers Social Club B 7-2.
Gladiators looked to be coasting to a comfortable win when they led Section 3 opponents New Club 3-1, but wins from New Club's Jane Chadbone and Anita Blissett levelled the scores at 3-3 and they completed their comeback when a 2-1 pairs success gave them a battling 5-4 triumph.
Black Swan's Jenny Parry and Lil Hewitt won the opening two games against visitors Grove House, who fought back to lead 3-2 thanks to Davies, O'Dell and O'Shea.
Swan levelled at 3-3 through Helen Chandler and a 3-0 pairs victory completed a 6-3 win overall. RESULTS
