Cholsey's Scouts, Cubs and Beavers got together for activities to mark the final days of their dilapidated hut.
They hope to move to a £330,000 purpose-built hall, which will also have a meeting room, office, showers and a kitchen, next year.
Some of the children from the scout group are pictured outside the hut.
Spokesman Michael Brodie said: "We are all very excited about this project. It will be a splendid new home for our young people, and allow us to do a lot more with them. We hope to have it open in November 2003 and we've all got our fingers crossed.
"I don't think anyone will be very sad to see the old place go."
People can view the plans for the new building and talk to Scout leaders at a special meeting in the present headquarters on December 10 at 7.30pm.
