Former arctic explorer Sue Stockdale is to join the board of Banbury business advice service Norbis.
She had set up her own business giving motivational presentations and workshops, based on the lessons she learned during her exped- itions.

Ms Stockdale has written a book called Kick Start Your Motivation which aims to challenge readers to achieve their goals, and help entrepreneurs to understand the factors that affect motivation and improve performance.
She holds a master's degree in quality management and improv- ement.
She will be joined at Norbis by another new board member, Simon Smith, a partner with accountants Wellers, of Horse Fair, Banbury.
They will replace founder director Richard George and David Reynolds.
Norbis executive director Chris Carr said: "Both have much to contribute and we are now working on plans to develop the service we offer in supporting young and start-up business.
