THE fourth Christmas market to raise money for wildlife group BBOWT takes place on December 7, in Abingdon Market Place.
More than 40 volunteers will be running 15 stalls, selling home-made food, children's clothes, toys, glass and china, books, and gifts from the group's wildlife shop in Wantage.
The market starts at 9am.
At 7pm, the mayor of Abingdon, Audrey Tamplin, will preside over the annual Christmas celebration carol concert at the Guildhall. The concert will be supported by the Salvation Army band, John Mason Wind Band, St Helen's Hand Bell ringers and the Barber Shop singers. Entrance is free but there will be a collection for the mayor's charity and the League of Friends of Abingdon Hospital.
