Adults are taking their first steps towards higher education thanks to part-time university access course.
Students in the Vale of White Horse can opt for philosophy, history of art, literature, environmental studies and sociology.
Course co-ordinator Bob Priest
Student co-ordinator Bob Priest, pictured, said: "It opens pathways to higher education for those who would not otherwise have the opportunity."
No qualifications are needed, but pupils must complete five modules.
The two-hour sessions are held in the morning, afternoon or evening in Didcot, Wantage and Faringdon.
Modules cost £60, but are free or discounted for those on benefits.
Anyone interested in joining next term should contact Mr Priest on 01235 765021 before the end of December.
