The Bicester Business Awards will become an annual event.
Plans are already being made for the second awards night next year and it promises to be bigger and better than the first ceremony held in October.
A provisional booking has already been made for next September.
Meanwhile, firms which achieved runner-up prizes in this year's awards collected certificates at a meeting of the town's Chamber of Commerce breakfast club.
They were: Paul Morrow, of British Bakels, Granville Way, Launton Road, for business of the year; Carl Pettman, of First Line Support, Telford Road, for best marketer; Jane Shouler, K2 Recruitment, Market Square, for best customer service, and Speechmark Publishing, Launton Road, for international trade.
Judith Goodacre, of QEK Global Solutions, Heyford Park, near Bicester, and Miranda Markham, of Bicester Village, Pingle Drive, both received awards for best community initiative.
Best small business runner-up awards were given to Paul Edmonds, of Spectrum Powdertech, of Telford Road, and Peter Greenway, of Active Media, of Heyford Park. Pictured above, from left to right, are Carl Pettman, Miranda Markham, Peter Greenway and Paul Morrow.
