Didcot Evening Women's Institute held a coffee morning at King Alfred Drive Community Centre in aid of the new Douglas House respite centre for young people in Oxford.

President Sylvia Pollard, pictured at the event, said: "Members sold cards and books as well as running a cakes stall and raffle."
The morning was the latest in a series of fundraising events different groups have organised around the county for the new centre, now being built in Magdalen Road, east Oxford.
