Lee Steele could make a surprise FA Cup entrance at the Kassam Stadium on Sunday.
Lee SteeleUnited manager Ian Atkins says he is "giving serious consideration" to starting with Steele, who has yet to make a first-team start this season after an injury-plagued four months.
"It's a tremendous opportunity for us to play with Basham, Oldfield and Steele in a 4-3-3 if Swindon play that system," he said.
"I'll have to look at the shape of what we've got, the way Swindon will play and see what Lee himself is like in training.
"But I've waited a long time to get this team, with Ford, Steele and Basham all playing together. They are all quality players and to have the three of them would be a mouth-watering prospect."
Steele, signed on a free transfer from Brighton in the summer, ironically faced Steve Basham in the FA Cup last season, with the Seagulls winning 2-0 at Preston in the third round.
He was in line for a first start last weekend in the Division 3 clash with Lincoln, but Atkins felt he wasn't quite ready.
