An environmental art group encouraged shoppers to recycle at Christmas and turn rubbish into attractive, seasonal decorations.

Re-Create held a workshop at the Co-op in High Street, Kidlington.
Shoppers were shown how to turn old Christmas cards into 'new' ones and how old light bulbs could be painted and turned into Christmas tree baubles.
Jane Carey, of Re-Create, said: "We want to make people aware of how much extra waste there is at Christmas, particularly packaging, and show them that much of it could be re-used.
"A lot of people said, 'that's a good idea why didn't I think of that'.
