A man died when flames engulfed his mobile home.
The body, believed to be Trevor Blackman, a builder in his mid 30s, was discovered as the blaze swept through the aluminium home in Clifton Hampden on Saturday morning.
Seventeen firefighters from Abingdon and a rescue team from Kidlington tackled the fire in one of six permanent homes at Bridge House Caravan Park, Long Wittenham Road, at 2.05am.
Neighbour Ron Goodship, who has lived on the site for 15 years, said Mr Blackman had escaped from a fire while staying at his father's house about a month ago.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reels and a thermal imaging camera, but Assistant Divisional Officer Francis Eckersley, of Oxfordshire County Council Fire Service, said there was no possibility of a rescue.
The cause of the fire was being investigated by the police and fire service over the weekend, but is believed to be accidental.
