Berks Bucks & Oxon League round-up reports on the Gosford All Blacks, Abingdon, Chipping Norton, Henley Wanderers and Oxford
GOSFORD All Blacks went top of Division 2 as they ended Chesham's unbeaten record with a convincing 28-6 victory at Stratfield Brake.
Star of the show was pocket dynamo Bryan Graham, who shone in his first game at fly half, notching two superb individual tries as well as kicking two penalties and a conversion.
Gosford's other tries came from winger Mark Hands and prop Rodney Rhymes.
In an error-strewn game, Abingdon won 20-0 at Winslow, with skipper Xavier Lecocq contributing 15 points from a try, two penalties and two conversions.
Centre Fraser McCairns scored the other try for Abingdon, who led 13-0 at half-time.
Skipper Jon Hickman scored a hat-trick of tries as Chipping Norton romped home 40-0 against Milton Keynes to move up to third in Division 1.
With their forwards winning plenty of good ball, Chippy scored further tries through Barry Nutt (2) and Neil Wynn. Adam Smith added two penalties and two conversions.
Leaders Henley Wanderers maintained their 100 per cent record with a 19-5 win at bottom club Pennanians.
All Wanderers' points came in the first half via tries by lock Julian Harris, No 8 Matt Vines and centre Charlie Ryan, plus two conversions by debutant Ben Emmett.
Oxford went down 12-6 at home to Aldermaston, managing just two penalty goals by Roy Telling.
