Emergency services were called after a lorry carrying 100 litres of diesel sprang a leak in its fuel pipe on the southbound A34.
Firefighters used special absorbent granules to contain the leak, in a lay-by between junction nine of the M40 and the Weston-on-the-Green turn.
Police and fire services were called at about 4am on December 10. A mechanic attended to repair the fractured fuel pipe. Only 20 litres of fuel was spilled.
