Bicester's Salvation Army is looking for volunteers and donations to help with its annual Christmas day party.
Every year the group organises Christmas dinner for people who would otherwise be alone.
Drivers are needed to pick up guests and drop them home again, and people are being asked to give up some time to attend a morning service and chat to guests until lunch is served.
Captain David Morgan said: "We would prefer for those people who would like to buy food to give us the money so that we can make sure we have enough of everything.
"This helps ensure we don't have an avalanche of sprouts and no turkey.
"If it's easier for someone to buy something, please check with us first then we can let them know what we are in need of."
The party is due to start at 11am on Christmas Day.
Anyone interested in volunteering or attending the lunch should call 01869 322891 or 01869 369160.
