Gas was sprayed into the face of a customer at an Oxfordshire post office during an attempted robbery.
The incident happened at the Wootton Post Office, in Besselsleigh Road, near Abingdon, on December 9.
A man was about to pay in some money at 12.50pm when two men sprayed what may have been pepper spray into his face.
They tried to take the money from his bag but another customer stepped in and they fled empty-handed, making their getaway in a white Ford Sierra.
The first offender was white, in his mid-20s and about 6ft. He had mousy brown hair and was slim.
The second man was white, in his mid-20s and about 5ft 10in.
