An Oxford hospice raised £25,000 for terminally ill patients with a prize raffle.
The top prize in the Sir Michael Sobell House Hospice raffle was a Peugeot 106 car, won by Cyril Ashwin of Botley, Oxford.
Dr Michael Minton, clinical director of the hospice, handed over the keys to Mr Ashwin.
The car was donated by Oxford Motors. Other raffle prizes at the hospice day centre at the Churchill Hospital included a holiday in Devon, theatre tickets and a boat trip on the Thames.
Mr Ashwin, a regular supporter of the charity said: "I couldn't believe it.
"Having had personal experience of the work of Sobell House, I am very grateful to the hospice and will continue to support their marvellous work.
"It was lovely to receive such a wonderful gift, particularly at this difficult time of year."
