Students at the beauty therapy department at Abingdon and Witney College took part in the college's nail art competition.
The work of the 11 students based at the college's Witney campus was judged by Phil Wiblin-Matthews, the manager of Sally's Hair and Beauty Supplies, of Gloucester Green, Oxford.
Salon technician Sue Horwood, left, and tutor Liz Evans are pictured with nails painted for the competition.
College spokesman Sian Cound said: "This nail art competition was the first of its kind at our college and formed part of a research project."
