Father Christmas spent a day at Foxbury Farm, Brize Norton, on Saturday to raise money for the Oxford Children's Hospital appeal.
Mickey the donkey and Eddie the cockerel were on hand to guide visitors around a maze, where Father Christmas was waiting with presents.
It is hoped the £20m hospital will open by December 2005, offering specialist care for children and providing innovative paediatric research. The purpose-built centre will be designed to take away some of the fear of going into hospital. About 14,000 children will stay at the 106-bed hospital every year.
The appeal has already secured £5m, the remaining £15m will be raised through fundraising. The Oxford Mail, its readers and advertisers are playing a major role in the fundraising appeal.
