The number of staff at Oxford Brookes University getting to work without a car has increased since the introduction of a Green Commuter Plan.
Results from a survey, conducted during the spring, show the number of staff walking has increased from seven per cent to 10 per cent, compared with 1998.
Bus use has gone up from five per cent to eight per cent, while car sharing has risen from nine per cent to 13 per cent.
