Drinkers at a Launton pub are hoping for some traditional Christmas cheer after the landlord appealed for carol singers.
Alan Burgesswill runs The Turnpike in Woodstock Road and is hoping to hold one-hour carol sessions every day until December 23. All groups taking part will be able to collect money from the pub for a charity of their choice.
Mr Burgesswill said: "Christmas is all about traditional sights and sounds. There is nothing more fitting than a carol group singing Silent Night, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and other historic melodies.
"Hopefully, the fact that the singing is for charity will make it an even more good willed affair and I'm sure any group that comes forward will get great support."
