Teenagers spending Christmas in hospital will get presents thanks to a £200 donation from the Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester Co-op.
It gave the cash to the adolescent unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington. The unit has eight beds and is the only one of its kind in the county.
Nursing assistant Pamela Huntley said: "The younger children receive lots of toys from well-wishers at Christmas, but the older ones are often overlooked."
