About 100 pensioners caught up with old friends at a Christmas tea party attended by the Lord Mayor of Oxford.
The Headington Community Association organised the party for elderly people on Saturday at its headquarters in Gladstone Road. The party was paid for by money raised by the group during the year.
Entertainment included music from Kennington Silver Band, a raffle, mince pies and sandwiches, and presents from Father Christmas.
Lord Mayor Gill Sanders said: "Many pensioners don't see each other from one year to the next so this is a lovely chance for them to catch up on news.
"This party is always a really nice occasion and the management committee deserve credit for working so hard to make it a success."
