A Didcot school's emphasis on PE and sport has been recognised with a Sport England award.
Greenmere School is among more than 100 primary schools to receive an Activemark for promoting the benefits of physical activity throughout the school.
A group of pupils from the school are pictured, being put through their paces.
Headteacher Dick Furniss said: "The award recognises a lot of activities in the school -- PE and after-school rugby, football, netball and country dancing -- as well as staff training."
Sport England's chief executive, David Moffett said: "We're finding more and more of our young people are becoming overweight as a result of their diet and a sedentary lifestyle.
"We need to re-emphasise the benefits of sport and physical activity to children and young people through positive first experiences at school.
"Schools are awarded the Activemark for doing just that."
