A racing car prepared in Carterton won the 2002 Alfasud Cup.
Jeff Kite, driving an Alfa Romeo Sprint prepared by Alfa Centauri, won the title with ten wins.
Kite, of Guildford, who clinched the title with four rounds left, was so impressed with their race preparation, run by Nick Suiter and Tony Favarin, he has asked them to build and run an Alfa Romeo next year.
The firm, which specialises in preparing cars for racing, has a busy winter ahead.
Suiter said: "We will expand by building another three cars and the infrastructure that goes with this.
"Our aim next year is to win the Le Mans Motorsport Auto-Italia Championship with the Stratos Evoluzione GT car."
