A pair of friends who have known each other more than 77 years have put their heads together to produce an historical book about Brize Norton.
Kathy Timms and Clare Hicks
Kathy Timms and Clare Hicks, pictured, have always lived in the village and decided to put the book together to show the vast changes it has gone through.
The book includes more than 70 photographs of Brize Norton from times gone by.
Bygone days in Brize Norton
Mrs Timms said: "It's been lovely going back over the old times and putting them down in writing. Clare's a very good writer and she has such a good memory.
"We wanted to get it all down before it's forgotten."
The book, Old Brize Norton, costs £7.99, and can be bought at bookshops in the area, or from AK Timms, Builders Merchants, Station Road, Brize Norton.
