Cub Scout leaders Elaine Robinson and her daughter Dawn have both gained their Wood Badges.
Elaine is leader of the 1st Heyford Cub Scout pack and Dawn is her assistant leader.
The Wood Badge is the ultimate training award in the Scouts.
They were presented with their awards by Bicester District Commissioner Alison Matthews at their headquarters at Heyford Park, Upper Heyford.
The group was formed nearly two years ago.
It comprises a Cub pack and a Beaver colony for younger children.
Chairman of the group, Keith Watson, said: "Both Elaine and Dawn have spent long hours qualifying for these training awards.
"The training they have undertaken will enable them to give a high quality programmes for the young people in the colony and pack."
