Wallingford Lions Club presented Fir Tree School in the town with a very appropriate gift.
It presented the school with two trees -- both firs.
Children from the junior school helped club members plant them in the school grounds.
The ceremony followed the school's Christmas Around The World multicultural production, in which the children wore national costumes from around the globe.
