The rural tradition of wassailing to protect orchard trees from evil spirits and encourage a good crop of fruit will be revived at Cogges Manor Farm Museum on January 11.
It will involve singing and traditional merry toasts to future harvests.
The event, from 7pm to 9pm, is organised by the Friends of the Wychwood Project.
Tickets at £10 can be obtained from Stuart Fox, 27 London Lane, Ascott-under-Wychwood.
