The father of a boy with cerebral palsy plans to climb the highest mountain in Africa to raise money for a charity helping people with the condition.
Matthew Tree, nine, had a brain haemorrhage when he was born, resulting in cerebral palsy.
His father, Andrew, 38, pictured with Matthew, aims to raise £2,600 for the charity Scope by climbing Kilimanjaro on the border of Tanzania and Kenya in February.
Mr Tree, of Templars Close, Wheatley, hopes to raise the money through sponsorship.
Anyone wishing to help should call him on 01865 875 419.
Matthew's school, Sandhills Primary, is holding a non-uniform day in January to help him reach his target.
