A train company has offered a reward of up to £2,000 for information leading to the conviction of railway vandals.
Chiltern Railways is also asking parents to educate youngsters about the dangers of trespassing on railway lines.
Since April, 356 incidents have been reported on Chiltern's routes from London Marylebone to Aylesbury and to Birmingham Snow Hill through Haddenham and Thame Parkway, Bicester North, King's Sutton and Banbury stations. Serious recent incidents along Chiltern Railways routes include car tyres and concrete being placed on lines and objects being thrown at trains.
In one incident outside Warwick station in November a stone was thrown at a train by a youth causing a window to shatter.

Chiltern, Network Rail and British Transport Police have asked for witnesses to come forward.
Chiltern is a member of the Midlands railway crime reduction and mitigation group, and has installed CCTV and fencing at vulnerable locations.
Educational visits are made to pupils in schools and British Transport Police increase patrols along Chiltern's routes in school holidays.
