The use of computer technology at Blewbury Primary School has taken a major step forward with the opening of a computer suite.
Dr Mike Marshall, chairman of governors, said: "Previously, with only two or three computers in each classroom, children could only use them in small groups, which made it difficult to teach computer skills."
Costing £127,000, the new facility includes 16 computers in what was formerly the school kitchen.
Dr Marshall said the project began three years ago and involved relocating the kitchen in a storeroom.
But the scheme only really took off 18 months ago with the help of a Government grant.
