The Motor Sports Association, the national governing body of motorsport in the UK, has set up annual awards to recognise and reward up-and-coming motorsport journalists working in UK racing and rallying.
With support from Renault UK, the MSA Young Writer and Young Photographer of the Year is open to all journalists covering motorsport in the UK aged 25 or under on January 1 of each calendar year. The winner of each category gets a £1,000 cheque.
The inaugural Renault MSA Writer and Photographer of the Year awards will be presented in January at the MSA's 'Night of Champions' at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, London.
